Does Botox hurt?
Most clients describe Botox injections as a quick pinch or moquito bite. As a registered nurse, I use ultra-fine needles and can apply numbing cream if you're nervous. The entire procedure take around 20-30 minutes, discomfort is minimal.
I have treated hundreds of clients with anti-wrinkle injections, and pain is very rarely an issue. Here's what to expect:
During injection - You will feel a small prick as the needle enters. Most clients rate it a 2-3 out of 10.
Technique Matters - As a registered nurse with advanced toxin training, I use precise injection techniques that minimise discomfort.
After Treatment - You may feel slight tenderness for a few hours, similar to a tiny bruise.
First-time clients often tell me it is much less painful than expected. If you're nervous, we can discuss pain management.
How long do Dermal Fillers last?
They typically last 6-18 months depending on the area and product used.
Longevity varies based on filler type, the area injected, metabolism, and lifestyle factors. Areas with more movement, like lips, break filler down faster (around 6–9 months), while structural areas like cheeks or jaw may last 12–18 months.
As a registered nurse, my goal is to choose the correct filler for your anatomy and ensure safe, natural, and sustainable results over time.
